Andy Blacksmith began his career in morning radio at Baltimore's legendary rock station 98 ROCK, and on January 10th, 2000 he signed on to join "The Morning Buzz". Prior to getting into radio, he spent 8 years finding, signing and developing new talent for legendary music manager Dee Anthony. Anthony was responsible for creating the careers of such iconic performers as Peter Frampton, Joe Cocker, Gary Wright, J. Geils, Sammy Hagar, Mott/Hoople, Humble Pie, Tony Bennett, Devo, Peter Allen and King Crimson. During his tenure at Dee Anthony Entertainment, he was involved with the multi platinum songs, "Time Of My Life" and "Hungry Eyes" from the hit movie soundtrack "Dirty Dancing" which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
