Good morning Lumpas, A man passed away while hunting last week and his obituary didn't make it in the newspaper. His wife emailed me to spread the word to all people that might have known him that the calling hours are tonight from 3-7pm at Maiden-Petrin Funeral Home in Candia.

Obituary: Michael Dollard
Dateline: Auburn, NH
Michael Dollard, 56, of Auburn died on November 6, 2012. He died of natural causes while deer hunting in Candia. Michael was born on February 26, 1956 in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Francis J. Dollard and Eleanor B. (Gove).
Michael worked at British Auto/SNG Barratt for the past 27 years. He was the Trustee of cemeteries for the town of Auburn. However, he’ll be remembered most as an outdoor enthusiast. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
He was also known to friends, family and neighbors as someone they could count on to help them if they were ever in a pinch. Because of his generous and helping nature to others the family has donated the meat of the five point buck he shot on Tuesday to a local food pantry.
Michael and his wife Bette loved traveling and taking yearly road trips across the US. They have visited 48 of the 50 states and were looking forward to their next trip, which would have been to Alaska.
Michael’s other great love was his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them all that he knew.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Bette (Hitchen); his son Scott and girlfriend Jennifer Boucher of Raymond; his daughter Kristi and husband Kevin Wood of Hooksett; three brothers, Jim, Tom and Peter. He is also survived by three grandchildren Kaleb Michael, Kaley Jo and Kaden Scott Wood; Three step grandchildren Dylan, Kimberley and Emaleigh; His cousin Don Dollard and several nieces and nephews.
