Hey, what's up? So I am Laura, born and raised in
Hooksett, NH. I am thirty and have been apart of the Morning Buzz for eight years now! I started in radio when I was nineteen on a show called Sports Soundoff on 610am. I have been married to a great guy from Hooksett named Jeff for six years now. We have a son named Parker who was born on March 25th, 2011. He was 8lbs 8oz and is the most wonderful boy in the world. We love him so much! Life has changed in the best way for us and I can't imagine a day without him. I love to be outside! Some of my favorite things to do are hunting, fishing and camping. I haven't had much luck hunting, but I am out there trying every season. I root for the Pats, Sox and Celtics (I am not much of a hockey or nascar fan, but I am trying to learn). My beverages of choice are nice cold beers and Jack Daniels (on the rocks). MMM . . .for food I love eggplant parmasean and shephards pie and for dessert, cheesecake. I enjoy relaxing at home, we get up way to early to be out too late on work nights.
Jeff and I love going to music festivals and we are very excited to bring Parker along for all the fun! We love music and hope that he enjoys it as much as us. My favorite singer of all time is Janis Joplin. I even had a cat namedJoplin growing up. Some of my favorite bands are Ryan Montbleau Band, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Spoon, Lettuce, Brett Dennen, and Mumford and Sons. There are so many more, but I can't name them all!
For things I don't like, hmmm . . . I try to be very upbeat and not to hate too much, but like everyone I have my pet peeves. I can not stand cocky, macho types who think they are better than everyone. I don't like when I have a "toe wedgie" (when your socks get wedged between your toes). It absolutely will make me go mental. I have had to pull over to fix it on the side of the road!Email me at laura@morningbuzz.com

Run Linda Run!
Good luck to my friend Linda who is running her 6th Boston Marathon! I will be thinking of her and all of the other talented runners out there! Linda and I have been going down to the Boston Marathon Expo to get Linda's number as a tradition. In the last three years we have added Parker to our tradition! He has now gone to the expo at 3 weeks, 1 year and 2 years old. He will be running with us before you know it! I'll be tracking her all day. Good luck my friend!

Parker was at the Fishercats game yesterday with my folks and was on tv last night!
Door To Door Delivery
I have talked about this place a couple of times on the show. Door to Door Delivery brings food to your house from restaurants that don't deliver! Like The Wild Rover, Fratello's, Red Sauce, Dos Amigos and more! I am such a good customer they asked me to be in their commercial! Very Funny! Order from them today!

Thank you to everyone that came out to The Barley House in Concord last night! We kicked-off the fundraising season for our 2013 Friendship Walk and 5K! Great music from Nate Powers, Lucas Gallo and Mike Moran. If you want more information on the Best Buddies Friendship Walk and 5K, please email (laura@morningbuzz.com) and you can join my team! Best Buddies is a great organization in 22 states, but it's not in NH! We need to bring Best Buddies to NH. Think of the smiles we can put on others faces by celebrating friendship and acceptance of people of all disabilities.
