Olivia Lacasse said she wanted to help people with cancer any way that she could and now she's using her love of making bracelets as a way to give back.
"I'm making bracelets to raise money for cancer. Because I thought I could really help some people that have cancer," said Olivia.
She's been making the bracelets since late last year. She's been selling them for $1 each. All the money goes to cancer research.
She was inspired to make the bracelets by her neighbor Donna Boudrias, who is a breast cancer survivor.
Boudrias said she is amazed by Olivia's passion and dedication.
"It's heart-warming. Heart-warming," she said.
The bracelets have been such a success that the entire family has pitched in to keep up with the demand.
"We had no idea it would just kind of catch on," said Olivia's mother, Jen.
"She enlisted everyone. Donnaa has made some. Her grandmother has made some. Anyone who walked through the door at one point was making bracelets," Jen Lacasse said.
"Now we have a whole line of people that want them, so my mom calls them to see what color they want and I make them a bracelet," Olivia said..
