Bio
The musical equivalent of a hopped up 60’s muscle car, “Swamp Yankee” is Jon McCormack’s big, churning, woolly mammoth guitar riffs anchored by the thunderous drums of Jamie Perkins and the shingle-shaking bass of Sean LaRose. All of this is the base for Dave Nebbia’s soaring and deceptively subtle vocals which wrap the tenderness and heartache of a love song in the denim and worn leather of the outlaw soul. These guys have been around the block and know how to temper the majestic bombast of their high voltage riff rock with dynamics and subtlety making for more than just one dimensional thrash. Like your uncle Bob’s 1969 Chevy Nova, “Swamp Yankee” is equal parts dirty, cool, dangerous and subtle.
