Grown men returning to High School = funny, creepy

Two policemen who can't seem to do the job get a second chance as high school students. Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) find their youthful demeanors being a plus as they are transferred from being bicycle cops to undercover agents in the Jump Street station. Sent into a high school to infiltrate a drug ring that is killing kids, the two find themselves up against a wall. The wall being made of the memories of greatness and pain from their high school years, not to mention their adaptability into the next generation of teens. Add gunfire, drugs and making out with high school girls and you have to wonder who approves the budget for a program like this.

Funny and childish, this movie is very Jonah hill with many call backs and spoofs on the original TV show. Surprise events and appearances will keep you entertained if you are a fan or fart jokes and awkwardness. Good for a fun night out, but don't expect a lesson learned in any way.
